Fourayes will continue to actively focus on innovation, supporting profitable growth and the consolidation of existing operations. In order to facilitate this, we are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Food Technologist to work in our New Product Development (NPD) department. The successful candidate will need to support the company through relevant changes necessary to achieve our objectives.
The NPD Food Technologist will assist the team with the development of new products as requested by management or customers. They will work within our New Product Development kitchen with our NPD Coordinator, learning all aspects of the product development process. The successful candidate will undertake a Level 3 Diploma in Food Technology over 24 months.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

- Creation of new products
- Learning about ingredientS
- Testing specifications of products and accurately recording information
- Creation and despatching of samples to customers
- Observing first production of new product to ensure conformance to the established development parameters
Education and Qualifications:
- Maths and English GCSEs Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
- Willingness to learn
- Good communication skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. Covid-19 Procedures June 2021
All employees will be required to wear a face covering while working onsite, keeping to the social distancing rules and washing hands etc. We are also asking all employees to take a weekly lateral flow test (ideally over the weekend, ready for the new week ahead) and report the results into HR to maintain a COVID free environment.

Join the Bramley Apple Picking team in the Autumn
If you don’t work all week in the factory then you can join the picking team in September & October. It’s £10 per bin for the 1st pick. Also great if you are student looking for holiday work.
